That terrible time of year is coming soon, daylight savings time is ending in November 7.
In two weeks, that extra hour of sleep you used to look forward to? Gone. More like an extra early wake up.
So, simple email today. You have two options.
Option one: start to push your kiddos sleep time forward about 10-15 minutes starting after Halloween. This can have varying degrees of success, ideally you push it enough so that when daylight savings comes, you seamlessly transition with no problem at all.
Option two: this one is for those kids who look at option one and laugh. This option is to say, screw it, and just buckle down for a sleepy, cranky week. And I don’t mean only for your little one.
So buckle up, it’s coming. Think of Halloween as the beginning of the end.
